Why Does Our Approach Work?

Empirical Studies

Our approach is grounded on research into the transformative impact of meditation on the human brain.

The benefits of meditation to reduce anxiety and stress, and improve overall health are well documented. However the the impact it can have on improved performance at work is less well known.

A 2015 quantitative study on ‘The Association between Meditation Practice and Job Performance,’ which surveyed 30,000 Japanese business people, concluded the following:

”Meditation practice may have a positive impact on concentration, memory, creativity, emotional intelligence, and motivation. Meditation practice can enhance employees’ job performance via its influence on the autonomic nervous and endocrine systems.”

A systematic review of 19 meditation studies between 1979 and 2015 concluded that the research “support(s) the efficacy of meditation-based interventions for increasing empathy, compassion, and pro-social behaviors.”

Tried and Tested

Combining ancient mindfulness practices with modern business insights, our unique business meditations have been successfully developed and tested over the past 11 years with around 400 business owners and employees.

These meditations uncover subconscious beliefs, enhance self-awareness, and boost emotional intelligence. They have proven to enhance creativity, clarity of purpose, confidence, and problem-solving capabilities.

1. Access to Subconscious Beliefs

Our pre-recorded content is designed to enhance self-awareness. This allows team members to access a deeper understanding of their beliefs and purpose, and to connect them with the shared identity and purpose of the organisation.

2. Opportunities for better Collaboration

Studies have shown that meditation can improve emotional intelligence and empathy, facilitating better understanding and collaboration among team members.

By identifying individual strengths, our meditations promote collaboration by creating an environment where team members genuinely value and leverage each other's abilities.

3. Enhanced Trust

Our meditation practices create a safe space where team members can share openly, listen actively, and build a foundation of trust. This environment enables authentic dialogue and constructive feedback - critical components of high-performance teams.

4. Greater Creativity

Studies have highlighted the positive impact of meditation on creativity and innovative thinking. Our visualisations are designed to stimulate the imagination and encourage "out-of-the-box" thinking. By expanding team members' creative horizons, we empower them to develop innovative solutions that drive the team's performance to new heights.

5. A Growth Mindset

Research underscores that meditation cultivates a growth mindset and resilience. Our meditations are designed to foster a mindset focused on continuous improvement, adaptability, and collaboration.

Purpose-Driven

We have been helping organisations to develop purpose-driven teams and brands for many years, and we believe the key to success is to make a deeper connection between the purpose of the organisation with that of its employees and teams.

Corporate Know-How

Senior team management experience gained from working at companies such as Cisco and Accenture has provided us with a deep-seated understanding of how to create positive, motivated, self-aware, innovative, and collaborative individuals – who are the foundation for higher performing teams.

Strategic marketing experience gained at global FMCG companies such as SC Johnson, Helene Curtis, Southcorp Wines, and Warner Brothers has given us a strong understanding of how consumer-orientated and purpose-driven brands outperform the market.

Built on Solid Inspirations

Central to our ethos are well-researched works such as Simon Sinek's "The Infinite Game" and Daniel Coyle's "The Culture Code."

These influential pieces provide robust frameworks that harmonise with our principles and approach. Sinek's insights into enduring success and Coyle's exploration of culture's role in performance align directly with our mission to nurture high-performance teams grounded in purpose, trust, and collaboration.
